Speedy

Gosh, you need to learn how to time things better than this. I like a lot of your other videos because you always made things work so well; but here, we don't have a chance to breathe, to digest what's going on. You just kind of flipped from line to line to line and whoa new character.

Just give us the ability to think stuff over when something funny happens.

Nice.

Delicious little Dresden Codak vibe you have with that first titan.

Huh.

Although everybody else seems to be voting this one down, I think this is the first WGJ4K episode that I actually found funny. I don't know what you did, but you should keep doing it.

The game seems to be pretty all right.

Tek909: You will turn into a poptart cat.

What KingAza said. Also, your controls are buggy. I don't want to keep going left when I'm done going left!

183, Bijjes!

Fun game, but a couple of your levels (in particular, 24) weren't very intuitive. Those levels were just pseudopods all over the place until you accidenally solved something.

Menacing

The collection of distorted roars, incomprehensible noises, and angry strings you used in the intro all work together brilliantlly to give listeners a free trip to lands of dark fantasy. Could use a little touch-up on the mixing side of things-- there's a couple of sounds that seem to cut out a little suddenly. That, and the middle (around 1:30-1:38) also loses a little of the looming presence the beginning and end work so hard to create. I'd suggest keeping something in that little section so that it doesn't feel quite so separate from everything else.

Dubstep with video-game beep lead.

I don't know much about Dubstep, but it seems that you've nailed some of those gritty bass sounds and have the beatstyle down. I'd suggest changing out the higher beep sound you used for something a little less piercing, though-- it gets a little painful after just a couple seconds. You also might want to experiment with adding a little more complexity to your percussion.

Thanks for the info. This is only an attempt at dubstep because like you I don't listen to dubstep, I'm more of a house person. I made this after I heard one song from the genre and I was upset over something. I'll try to lower the high frequencies and this version is a little faster from the original, 20 bpm higher, and had to put in a rushed ending.

Nice.

Some of the sounds you have in this piece are incrdible! They get a little weak at points, but the overall mood hides that pretty well. Ace job.
